How to Shop Wisely Using Coupons New

Using coupons wisely saves money, but using them incorrectly could cost you. Coupons provide companies a way to get their product in front of the consumer with an added incentive to purchase by offering a percentage off the cost. Devise a coupon strategy that works for you and saves money at both groceries and drugstores.
Instructions:

1 .Use coupons only on the products you buy. Using coupons for items not normally on your shopping list offers no savings. Seek out coupons you know you will use on items you purchase weekly or monthly.
2 .Organize your coupons. Keep the coupons with the earliest expiration date at the top of the stack. Separate coupons by putting the same type together, such as cleaning products in one stack and paper items in another.

3 .Use coupons at stores other than the grocers. Watch drugstore sale ads and use your coupons on items such as makeup, hair coloring, over-the-counter medications or paper products. Drugstore prices and their sales coupled with coupons may come in lower than the grocery store.
4 .Ask your grocery store about their policy on coupons. Some grocery stores double or triple coupons while others do not, and some accept Internet coupons and others refuse them.
5 .Wait till a product goes on sale before using the coupon. By waiting for a sale price, then using the coupon, you increase your savings. Purchase more than one of the item if you have multiple coupons and if you use it frequently. This keeps the product handy so you can wait till the next sale to purchase more.
